Just a little unicorn sketch I did ^^ I'll move this to scraps later, don't worry :P
I want to use this sketch to do an illustration, because I love how it turned out, it's exactly what I imagine a unicorn to look like ^0^

Yes, for all of those who have watched The Last Unicorn or read the book, Peter S. Beagle's description of these creatures had a great impact on me when I was a child, so... :)

No reference used, although I did look up photos of deer and horse heads to compare the differences. As you should see, I made the unicorn's head (well, and its body, too :D ) much more like that of a deer's, its graceful, straight snout and everything, the thin legs, big ears... I don't like it when unicorns look like horses, I don't imagine them to have such a powerful appearence :P

And I loves drawing the long, wavy mane, it maker her look old ^^

Lovely lovely... it shows all the grace of such a creature. And, the colours you've used to do the rougher lines are lovely.

:omg: I love this!! I utterly adore this sketch! You've perfectly captured a unicorn - particularly Beagle's last unicorn - just as I've always pictured them/her in my mind. To me a unicorn should be more deer like rather than a horse. I don't like it either when a unicorn is represented to look like nothing more than a white horse with a horn stuck on the forehead; it ruins the beauty and grace that all unicorns should have!!

Such a beautiful, flowing drawing. :heart: Ooo, I do hope you'll finish it off at some stage! =D :clap:

Last night i sent an angel to watch over u while u were sleeping. It came back early and i asked it why? Its said "Angels dont watch other Angels"

and the darkness sang, and the tears fell turning to ashes, where they were unseen, and forgotten...
