Thought I might upload a little preview of my current project. It's from the same series as "I Love Him to Pieces" [link] "My Boyfriend is a Monster", but with a different theme.

This time I'll be using some grayscales because, well, in some scenes the comic needs it.

Anyway, these are some random panels I like a lot from different pages.


Trivia: To those of you who know the band L'Arc~en~Ciel, in the background of the first panel are posters of each band member and a group shot, even if they're not really recognizable. ;)

And: Google SketchUp is my friend.

Are you going to do any more on the character from "I love him to pieces"? Just wondering. I really liked Dicey and Jack Chen.

I really don't know myself. I've been told they/we MIGHT do another volume where they appear (although I believe not as the main characters), but I have no idea if that idea has been scrapped or if it will be put into practice.

I really liked them, too, so I'd certainly enjoy drawing them again. But we'll have to wait and see what the editors decide. :)

That's cool. I'm trying to get into making comic books myself. Right now I have someone who might hire me as their artist. I hope things go well. And I can't wait to see more of your work.

Oooh, i've been so busy with uni lately that I totally forgot to order "I love him to pieces"! This reminded me to do it. :la: Can’t wait for it to arrive now! XD
I like the main character here! (The girl with dark wavy hair IS the main character, right?) I love her face in the bottom left panel! :D And... something tells me that this one is about a ghost boyfriend... :P
When does it come out? :)

Haha, yes, she's the main character. And I'm having fun with facial expressions in this one, I'm trying to improve them. ^^
Oh geez, how did you know that about the ghost? XD

I actually have no idea when it comes out. As far as I know, it's going to be printed next spring, so I'd guess it might come out next summer or something. Dunno. I'll let you know when I know something. ;)
