This is the first of two illustrations I painted some time ago for my parents, as a thank you gift for everything they've done for us - especially helping us with SO much stuff regarding our move.

I've written more about it on my blog, and I'm lazy to re-write it, so if you're curious about more information, just check it out (and there you can also see how both pieces go together): [link] ;)

Whooaaaa, this is freaking incredible!! There is so much talent here I don't even know where to begin!!

The folds on her dress are so well done, and are really nicely shaded! Her hair is really pretty too - you manage to get so much depth in there! I'm really impressed!

The background is amazing, too. I love the gradient - and holy cow how did you get such precise work done with the masking fluid??

Amazing! So glad I found your gallery :)

Thank you!
I found it really easy to work with masking fluid, actually. I just used a rather thin brush (number 2, I think it was), that's all. But maybe there are also differences with different masking fluids, I don't know. ^^

Thank you! No trick (as far as I know) apart from masking fluid, if that's what youi mean.
